Buying a Goat - pt. 2
Recently I posted here about Michael's (our brother in law) upcoming trip to the Democratic Republic of Congo to help with sustainable agriculture as a means to help people get out of poverty. Their trip starts tomorrow, and they'll be blogging about it here. They'll be spending 25 days there, buying 400 acres of land, and sponsoring 35 children to go to school.
Also missions related... Last weekend at Steve's wedding we caught up with some friends from growing up -- and were referred to this blog from Shan Reed. Shan is now working with church planting in Japan. She & her sister used to baby-sit Steve & I - we caught up with her parents at the wedding.
I love how technology continues to make the world seem smaller!

Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog! I'll add yours to my list so I can check in every once in a while. My parents really enjoyed the wedding and getting to hang out with everyone. They sent a couple of pictures. It was fun to 'see' you again.
Looking forward to keeping up,
Shan:)
